Note: If you are calibrating the host terminal, please reach out to the help desk first (if this terminal is taken offline, your system will go down for the duration)
Go to the terminal and hit <Clear> 6 times in Rapid Succession. The normal windows desktop will appear (if that doesn’t work, hit <Clear> <Clear><Bksp><Bksp><Enter><Enter> in that order).
Look for the icon labeled Microchip TSHARC… and tap on it.
Select the tab for Calibration:
For the 1st time calibrating, use the 9 Point and hit “Begin Linearization”. If this calibration doesn’t work, repeat the same process with “25” and then “28” Point.
Follow the on-screen prompts.
The terminal will then prompt you to test the calibration and then <Ok> or <Apply> to save the settings.
When it’s completed and Saved, you will be taken back to the desktop screen. Using the <Start> button on the bottom of the screen, Restart the terminal. When it comes back up, go ahead and test. If it still fails to hold calibration, give us a call at the help desk and we can open a ticket with ResourcePOS.
